Ho'omaha is a Hawaiian word that means "to take a rest". It came from the Hawaiian words [Ho'o] which means "to take action" and [maha] which means "Rest, repose, vacation; freedom from pain; at ease, comfort.". Our camping ground literally means when you come here, you came here to take a rest or to take comfort or to take a vacation.

Most of us are silently having battles with ourselves due to the stress of the day-to-day activities that we do to survive. According to Brittany Johnson, "Taking breaks allows your brain and body to get the necessary recharge it needs to keep going." This means that all of us need to have some break to recharge and ease stress.
